On December 10, 2023, Law to Impact participated in the Climate Innovation Meeting, a parallel event to the COP28 World Climate Conference, organised by the Greek chapters of “Climate Fresk Greece“, “YES-Europe Greece“, and “SDSN Youth Black Sea“. The event took place at the Cisco Digital Transformation & Skills Center in Thessaloniki and was open to citizens, professionals, and young people interested in climate change and sustainability.
Our contribution
Anastasia Akritidou addressed the question of why ESG is an integral part of a successful business today. Her presentation explored what the practical integration of Environmental, Social, and Governance criteria means for the business community, and how companies can transform sustainability from a compliance obligation into a competitive advantage.
Local dialogue, global agenda
The event aimed to bring the global conversation of COP28 closer to the local community — creating an open space where individuals with shared concerns about climate, sustainability, and their role at both an individual and collective level could connect, discuss, and take action together. For us, participating in this event was another opportunity to reinforce something we deeply believe in: ESG is part of a broader transformation that concerns all of us.
