On February 25, 2026, Anastasia Akritidou participated in the 4th Local Stakeholders Group meeting in Thessaloniki, organised by the Region of Central Macedonia and the Business and Cultural Development Centre (KEPA), under the theme: “Building the city’s cultural and creative community.”
The event brought together representatives of the local Cultural and Creative Sectors and Industries in an interactive workshop designed to strengthen collaboration, map ecosystem roles and identify concrete partnership opportunities. Through the Ecosystem Motivation Matrix exercise and targeted bilateral exchanges, participants explored complementarities within the local ecosystem, shared motivations and collaboration needs, and pathways for sustainable and innovation-driven growth.
The meeting also connected the local creatives’ community with the broader European framework of CCSI4CCSI — Cultural and Creative Sectors and Industries for Collaboration, Competitiveness, Sustainability and Innovation, highlighting trends shaping the green, digital and social transition, opportunities for interregional cooperation, and good practices from across Europe.
Thessaloniki has a strong creative ecosystem — and when the people within it start talking to each other, local collaboration takes on an international perspective.
